1lb. Sausage (or you can use bacon)
2 tbs. of flour
2 cups milk
crushed black pepper
salt to taste
Directions
- Take a pan and add in a little oil. When it’s heated up, fry the sausage (or bacon) in it until browned.
- Take the sausage into another pan/plate, you’ll only need the drippings from the cooking.
- Add flour to the dripping and stir continuously to get a smooth paste
- Add in milk. Bring it to a boil and keep whisking until you get a desired consistency.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.

If you want a more simpler version, just use butter instead of sausage drippings. It will come out less thicker than above version.
