Ingredients You’ll need for Pizzette

For Pizzette Dough

  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ ounce yeast
  • 2½ cups warm water
  • ½ cup oil
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt

For Pizzette Sauce

  • ½ cup water
  • 1 can Tomato Paste
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano, crushed
  • 1 tbsp dried basil, crushed
  • ½ tbsp garlic powder
  • ½ tbsp onion powder
  • ½ tbsp sugar
  • ½ tbsp salt
  • ¼ tbsp black pepper

For Topping

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 ounce Pepperoni

How to make Pizzette

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Grease two 12-inch pizza pans.
  3. Let’s make the sauce. Whisk together water, tomato paste, herbs, spice powders, sugar, salt, and pepper in a bowl until smooth. Then set aside.
  4. Let’s make the crust now. Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Add warm water and oil. Mix until well blended, about 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add remaining flour, a little at a time, until a soft, sticky dough forms.
  6. Kneed the dough very well until soft and elastic, about 4 minutes. Add more flour as needed.
  7. Divide dough in half. Lightly flour your hands, then take the dough into a flat surface, roll with a rolling pin to about 3-5 mm thick.
  8. We will use cookie cutter about 3 inches in diameter to cut out pizzette circles.
  9. Now place Pizzette circles onto the prepared pizza pans.
  10. Top pizzette circles with sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven until crusts are browned and cheese is bubbly, 18 to 20 minutes.
  12. Rotate pizza pans between the top and bottom oven racks halfway through baking.
