200 grams (1 and 1/3 cup) dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate, broken into pieces
100 grams (1/2 cup) caster sugar or granulated sugar
90 grams (1/2 cup) brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
70 grams (1/2 cup) plain flour or all purpose flour
20 grams (1/4 cup) cocoa powder
125 grams (1 cup) fresh raspberries
75 grams (1/2 cup) chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 C (350 F)
- An 8-inch square pan should be greased and lined with parchment or baking paper, with two sides overhanging.
- Melt the butter and chocolate in the microwave, stirring after every 30 seconds. Allow to gently cool.
- After that, stir in the sugar and vanilla to the chocolate mixture. One at a time, add the eggs, and whisk once more. When the mixture is smooth, add the flour and cocoa.
- Gently mix in the chocolate chips and fresh raspberries. Mixture should be poured into the prepared tin and gently smoothed down.
- The brownie should be baked for 30-35 minutes, or until done. It should stop swaying in the middle and begin to split on the edges. Before slicing into squares, let the mixture cool fully.
